Love My Lawn
Native plants help clean the air, trap carbon dioxide, reduce erosion from storm-water runoff, improve soil, decrease noise pollution, and reduce temperatures. Through the Love My Lawn program, homeowners can receive FREE native trees, shrubs, and mulch for their front yard.
Paint the Town
A good coat of paint is your home’s first line of defense against the harsh Texas weather. Through the Paint the Town program, homeowners may receive FREE paint and supplies to keep the exterior of their home healthy and beautiful.
Project Reuse
Don’t send usable building materials to the landfill! There are people in our community who would love to use your left over materials to repair their homes. Sheetrock, shingles, plywood and more can be donated and then put back into our community.
Planet Earth Cart
The PEC is a rolling cart packed with fiction and non-fiction books, games, puppets, lesson plans, and hands-on activities provided for free to Ennis ISD campuses.
The PEC is a tool developed to address all learning styles and provide accessible resources to increase and enhance environmental education to help our children develop a healthy respect and appreciation for our planet and all of the creatures and organism we share it with.
